PART TIME AND FULL TIME HELP WANTED!
Cooking with Kids Miami is expanding and needs help! We are a Kids Cooking Company that teaches children a little about nutrition, how to prepare delicious meals, and how to have some fun with food!
We have after school programs in major private schools throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Cooking with Kids Miami also hosts Chef’s Birthday Parties, Field Trips, Summer Camps and Saturday cooking classes.
We are looking for cooks and cook’s helpers who are team players, but above all MUST LOVE KIDS!!!!!
Job Requirements: Some experience in the kitchen is a must, but advanced culinary skills are not necessary. Baking and pastry experience is a big plus. You must possess skills in working with children and willing to work with children ages 3 to 13.
Responsibilities include: Daily preparation of food items and travel from our location to events and schools.
You must carry light equipment from the car to the classroom or event location and set up our mobile kitchen.

We are so excited…
to announce our new online reservation system that will be up and running this week! We are so thankful that our Saturday class’s are becoming more popular each week. However, with the increase in happy customers come some (good) challenges. Our class’s have been SOLD OUT for the past 6 weeks. This told us we needed a better way to keep track of our registrations.
Keeping Track…
of who is registered, who paid, and how many seats are left will be easy with our new system. You will soon be able to see all of our upcoming events including Saturday class’s, Camps, Birthday party availability all in one place!
The best part…
is you will see online if there are are any seats available and how many. Even if a class is full you will have an opportunity to place yourself on a waiting list. Once you register for a class or a series of class’s you will be able to look at the description of the upcoming class to see exactly what’s coming.

Theme: Iron Chef (February 18th – March 24th)
Saturday classes are themed for each 6 week session.
The theme starting February 18th will be Iron Chef for the bigger kids, and Total Nutrition for our smaller chef’s.
Themed Classes for Kids Ages 7 to 13
For kids 7 to 13, Iron Chef will be the theme of our new 6 week cooking session. Starting February 18th, going through March 24th, 2012. The time will be from 10:00AM to 11:30AM.
With the help and guidance of our Head Chef, all of our chef students will participate in a fun but challenging class competition. Each week a new menu will be introduced and explained so the participants can show their creative abilities. Each week the class will be divided in two and throughout the class, each team will accrue points for answering correctly and guessing secret ingredients.
At the end of each class, all dishes will be sampled to determine the winning team. A blindfolded judge will determine the best tasting dishes. Parents are welcome to be judges.
Little Chef Ages 3 to 6
It’s never too early to start nurturing love for cooking and crafting nutritious meals.
Your child will enjoy an educational experience that focuses on art, movement, snack and story time.
“Little Chef” cooking class assists your child in the development of language, art and social skills required for them to flourish in Pre-school.
We will introduce different textures of fruits and vegetables to your child. Through the combination of old favorites and new ones, we will show your child a variety of smells, textures, and colors.
